The Little Angel Theatre is “the Home of British Puppetry” and one of only two building-based puppet theatres in England.
Established in 1961, the 100 seat Islington theatre stands side-by-side with the workshop, where all new productions and puppets are developed, carved and constructed.
The theatre is dedicated to the celebration and development of puppetry and live animation in all its diverse forms.

Little Angel’s exciting Saturday morning club for 2-5 year olds and their carers. Members begin the term by watching a performance of ‘The Birthday Cake’ and meeting the puppets. The following 7 weeks are spent on ‘crafty’ activities, songs and games linked to the show including some simple puppet making. The children must be accompanied by an adult carer and will leave each session with something they have made themselves. Why not take the little one to Crafty Kids while the older children make puppets at our ever popular Saturday Puppet club?
