Bosworth Battlefield Visitor Centre & Country Park
The site of the Battle of Bosworth 1485, the decisive battle of the War of the Roses where Richard III lost his life and his crown to the future Henry VII. Children and adults can handle weapons and armour in the detailed exhibition, watch a film explaining the events and walk on a outside circuit which gives a blow-by-blow account of events. Take a stroll around the battle trail (open all year) with information boards explaining the course of the battle. Living history events throughout summer.
