Join Down House’s expert gardeners who’ll cover a different topic each weekend giving you top tips from the harvest season as they draw from their experience tending Darwin’s famous garden – his ‘outdoor laboratory’.
Each event consists of a special gardener-led tour of the productive parts of the garden – the organically managed orchard and walled kitchen garden – finishing off with an in-depth look at the featured crops of the week.
Hands-on activities are available for younger visitors and freshly prepared produce from the garden will be on offer in the tearoom.
