1. Walt Disney was the founder of Disney!

The first owner of Disney, formally known as The Walt Disney Company, was Walt Disney himself. Walt Disney co-founded the company with his brother Roy O. Disney.

The Disney Brothers Studio, which later evolved into The Walt Disney Company, was created in 1923.

Walt Disney was the creative force behind the company, contributing to its early success with iconic characters like Mickey Mouse and the creation of the first-ever synchronised sound and colour cartoon, “Steamboat Willie” in 1928.

2. Walt loved drawing and storytelling.

5. Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs was the first animated feature film!

The 1930s saw Walt’s ambitious dream come to life with the release of “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs” in 1937.

This groundbreaking film marked the first-ever full-length animated feature, showcasing Walt’s ability to turn dreams into reality.

6. Disney partnered with Pixar Animation Studios and created Toy Story!

In 1995, Disney partnered with Pixar Animation Studios, leading to the creation of “Toy Story,” the first-ever fully computer-animated feature film.
