Don’t get this confused with Superman’s home planet! Krypton is a rare element that exists right here on earth.

kryptonDiscovered by the same people who found Neon, it shares many properties.

It gives off an intense amount of light, which means it plays an important role in scientific lasers and has been vital for the development of nuclear energy.

It’s not that common though, in fact only 0.0001% of the earth’s atmosphere is krypton!
