The IET want you to design a sustainable community!

The deadline for the Sustainable Community Project is Friday, 28 January 2022.

IET have created the IET 150: Sustainability Community Competition for you!

They’re are asking young people across the UK to consider their community response to sustainability and climate change, all while having fun.

The IET want you to put your engineering hats on design and build a sustainable community.

It could be similar to where you live now, but right from the very beginning – a blank canvas!

The only thing it must include is 150 homes for people within the community to live in, then the rest is up to you, keeping in mind the sustainability of your community.

You can think about a variety of factors, from providing shelter and water, to heating and food sources, to the community’s economy and jobs for the people.Β
