Hi Peter, your son Kasper plays for Leicester – do you think they can defend the title?
Peter says: “It’s going to be very difficult, because Man. City, Chelsea and Man. United all have new managers who have been spending big, while Arsenal are never out of the top four!”
Did Kasper always want to be a footballer, Peter?
Peter says: “He wanted to be a fireman, a doctor, a policeman – whatever boys want to be! He played football a lot as a kid with Hull’s Alex Bruce, who was our neighbour, but at ten it wasn’t a career he had chosen!”
You’re a Man. United legend – how successful do you think Zlatan will be this season?
Peter says: “I think he understands the club and respects the traditions. It looks like he is willing to compromise on a lot of things to help make United great again – so hopefully he’s going to be really successful!”
Robert Pires
Hi Robert, you’re playing in the Wembley Cup this Friday – what does it mean to be back there?
Robert says: “Wembley is a fantastic place! It’s one of the best stadiums in Europe – Arsenal played in some massive finals in the FA Cup and the Champions League, so it’s a great opportunity for me and the other Ultimate Team Legend players!”
How do you think Arsenal will get on this season?
Robert says: “I always believe in Arsenal and Arsene Wenger!
I think the team are doing pretty well, but unfortunately they finished second last season because Leicester were just more consistent. I think the objective for Wenger and Arsenal this season should be the title, but it’s hard with teams like Man. United, Tottenham, Liverpool, Man. City and Chelsea. You never know!”
Is the journey really similar to life as a Prem footballer?
Robert says: “Yeah! You see Alex at home with his grandparents, his mum and his dad – that’s what it’s like. Sometimes when you’re down you need them to pick you up – and when you’re up you need them to keep your feet on the ground!”
