The Euros is always a brilliant tournament…
It’s full of big names, teams and players. It’s a buzz doing a big tournament like this, especially in a country like France – they love football, have great traditions, great players, a good team and great stadia!
Spain will be a force…
They’ve lost one or two key players and others are getting towards the end of their career – but you only have to look at their club football, they’re so dominant in Europe. They had a bad World Cup but I can’t imagine that will happen again!
The best players in the world are here in France…
And you always look forward to seeing the biggest stars. I’m looking forward to watching Ronaldo, obviously. Ibrahimovic is another great player and hopefully one or two of our own – like Harry Kane!
Germany haven’t been brilliant since the World Cup…
But they do perform in tournaments – they know how to do it on the big stage!
But France have to be favourites to win this time…
They’ve got a lot of quality players and they have home advantage, so I quite fancy France to win this summer!
I like Griezmann a lot…
He’s got great qualities – he could be the top goalscorer, but they’ve got good players right through the team. Lloris in goal is brilliant, great midfielders and, of course, Paul Pogba – the superstar!
It’s so hard to pick a Golden Boot winner…
You’ve got to strike form at the right time – and it’s not always the household names that win it. Ronaldo has a prolific goalscoring record – but has he got a strong enough team behind him? Griezmann should have a good chance, but hopefully Kane or Vardy will win it!
To see England lift the trophy would be amazing…
To broadcast an England victory in a major tournament is one of my ambitions. It’s long overdue. It would be wonderful, absolutely brilliant!
Leicester’s title win was the biggest miracle ever…
No-one could have predicted that – but it makes you realise that in football the favourites don’t always win. And if your team is well organised and has a togetherness and a spirit, a bit of confidence and a good manager, and all these things come together at the right time, you can surprise people!
